Deadline Dec 13 2023 08:00 AM (PST)
Description

The REDF Accelerator provides social enterprise leaders expert guidance on core business competencies, employee support programs, and the opportunity to plug into a network of like-minded peers.

Described as a “mini-MBA,” The REDF Accelerator is a 5-month, hands-on program designed to equip social enterprise leaders with the connections, skills, and tools to grow their enterprises and increase the number of meaningful jobs they create.

During this highly interactive five-month program, you’ll work alongside your peers to learn and put into practice the methods, skills, and tools needed to achieve big goals and reach key milestones. And there’s no fee to participate. You can learn more about our program here.

You can learn more about our eligibility criteria here. If you have any questions about the program you can find answers to Frequently Asked Questions
here.

The REDF Accelerator reviews applications on a rolling basis for two cohorts per year. If selected, you could be offered a placement in any of our upcoming cohorts. They do fill up, so we recommend you apply early. We have filled all of our 2024 cohort and will begin selecting for our 2025 cohort in July 2024.

Program Outcomes

  • Engaging Curriculum – Described as a “mini-MBA,” our Accelerator includes 100+ hours of professional development tailored to the needs of ESE leaders.
  • A Community of Peers – As many MBAs will tell you, it’s not just what they learned, but who they met, and the Accelerator incorporates this value as well. You’ll leave with an incredible network.
    • A cohort of 18 ESE Leaders from across the US.
    • REDF’s network of over 150 social enterprises located in 30 states and DC.
    • Introductions to industry experts.
  • You can access the Accelerator Informational webinar recording and presentation HERE. We have broken the webinar down into two parts:

Funding

By successfully completing and graduating from the REDF Accelerator, an enterprise receives an unrestricted grant of $20,000 and becomes eligible to apply for REDF funding opportunities such as our Growth Portfolio program. Participation in the Accelerator does not automatically guarantee acceptance into the Growth Portfolio or further funding from REDF.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To apply, the applicant and enterprise must meet our eligibility criteria. The Accelerator is not a team experience. Please choose the person from your organization that fits the eligibility requirements. To facilitate this partnership, we are intentional with how we review our applications. You can review our detailed selection criteria here

If after reviewing this list, you still have questions about whether you are eligible, please contact us at connect@redf.org.
